CleaningsWhat is Public
Enemy #1 in the minds of dentists? A single disease is responsible for 70% of
all losses of permanent teeth and afflicts as many as nine in ten adults at some
point in their lives: periodontal (gum) disease. Basic RestorativeToday, there are many choices for types of filling matierial. Dr. Day performs composite (tooth colored) fillings as well as amalgam (silver) fillings.
With
an emphasis on cosmetic procedures these
days, most people prefer the tooth
colored (composite) fillings. In most
cases, these will work just fine. On
occasion, however, a silver filling may
be the better choice. Major RestorativeCrowns/Bridges: We use all ceramic (no metal) crowns when possible, and choose high noble (highest quality) metal when necessary. Endodontics: Root canals are perfomed with a controlled torque rotary handpiece system. This is the easiest root canal you'll ever have! Partial Dentures: In most cases, a "Valplast" partial denture will do the trick. No metal, light, flexible, yet extremely durable.
Extractions: New
instruments help decrease trauma during extractions. That
means faster healing time for you! Orthodontics Would you like
straighter teeth, but don't want "metal mouth"? Have spaces between front teeth
that bother you? Whitening ProceduresEveryone wants a whiter smile. It's easy AND affordable! In a hurry? Come in for our in-office whitening procedure. You'll leave with a new, bright smile!
ImplantsThese days there are plenty of options if you have a tooth extracted. One of the most ideal options is to have an implant placed in the extraction site. Dr. Day restores implants with all ceramic (no metal) crowns in esthetic areas and uses porcelain fused to high noble (highest quality) metal when necessary.
