Dr. Day offers ezlase treatment to improve your comfort and provide better results from your dental procedures.  EZlase laser treatment gives you important advantages over conventional treatment using scalpels and sutures.

Improve your smile

Dr. Day may suggest contouring or shaping your gums using the ezlase to improve the appearance of your smile – safely removing excess gum tissue that may give you a “gummy” smile, or make your front teeth appear irregular in size or shape.

 

Remove Oral Growths

Dr. Day may use the ezlase to remove growths or excess tissue in your mouth such as gum tissue over an unerupted tooth, small “tags” called papilla, growths called fibromas, and others.

 

 

 

 

 

Fix a “Tongue Tie”

 

Connections that restrict the movement of your tongue or cause your gums to recede can be “released” with the ezlase.

 

 

 

 

 

Treat Periodontal Disease

Dr. Day or one of our dental hygienists may recommend using the ezlase to remove debris and bacteria between your teeth and gums that can cause bleeding gums, gum recession and even loss of teeth. The laser is highly effective at killing bacteria and may even stimulate gum tissue growth.

 

 

 

Relieve the Pain of Cold Sores, Fever Blisters and Ulcers

 

The ezlase often provides immediate relief from painful cold sores, fever blisters and even ulcers!  Once the area has been treated with our in office EZlase, it is possible that you may never have another fever blister/cold sore reappear in that same spot!  Wouldn’t that be great?
