The Crew
I grew up in the Charlotte, NC area. We moved to this beautiful area in January 2007. My dental hygiene degree was obtained through Central Piedmont in Charlotte, NC. My husband, Paul, and I have two boys, both married. The oldest one lives here with his family and the youngest is still in Charlotte with his family. We have 3 grandchildren, one boy and two girls.
On my days off, I enjoy reading, writing cards and letters, visiting our children and watching our grands play sports.
Working for Dr. Day is my dream job. It is a true gift! Our patients receive the highest standard of care, which means my hygiene skills and knowledge are always being updated with the newest dental techniques and skills. I can then share this with my patients to give them better dental health opportunities and care.
I grew up on Cedar Island, NC (the beginning of Highway 12’s Gateway to the Outer Banks) and now live in Marshallberg. I am a graduate of Coastal Carolina Community College majoring in Dental Hygiene. My passion for dental hygiene allows me the opportunity to educate my patients about the importance of why their oral care is of utmost importance to their overall health. I enjoy helping patients build their confidence by achieving and maintaining a beautiful smile. Dr. Day’s passion for patient education (along with team education) allows us to provide each patient with the time and service they deserve.
I am married to George and we have a daughter Chelsea who is currently attending college. We also have a Chow/Shepard rescue dog “Chowder Clam.” In my spare time I enjoy walking, yoga, crochet, traveling, and anything related to the beach or salt water.
I attended Craven Community College and completed the DANB Dental Assisting program in 2004. I am originally from Havelock/Cherry Point, NC. After living in Carteret County for 15 years, my significant other, Jeff, and I recently bought a home back in our hometown. I have a beautiful daughter, Adrian, who is currently in nursing school. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, and cooking.
